The deadline for submitting the Proposal for Culminating Experience is the same as the deadline for the Application for Graduation, which is normally early in your final semester. Because of the timing of Econ 890 and the oral defenses, there are two things students should be aware of: • Students finishing up after Spring semester (i.e., taking orals in June) officially graduate in summer, but may attend Spring commencement exercises. This is so because the completion of the culminating experience cannot be done by the Spring graduation (May) deadline. • For students finishing up after Spring semester, the deadline for submission of the Proposal for Culminating Experience for our MA students is extended; specifically, the deadline for our MA students is the same as the deadline for the Application for Graduation.
