Believe it or not, it is probably because your computer is too fast. There is a bug in the version of Turbo Pascal that was used to compile the CUPS programs, which leads to this runtime error if the clock speed is greater than 300MHz (or is it 200MHz?). A quick and dirty solution is to use a program that slows down your computer. One such program is “Mo ‘Slo v.1.32”, which is the (free) demo version.
