OSU Physics Faqs : How can I make my answers look better?
Here are some hints: * Starting a line with spaces switches that line to verbatim mode (that means that what you type is what you get). * Insert two blank lines between paragraphs so that they will appear with vertical space between them. (Inserting one blank line will start the next line at the left margin but without extra space between lines.) * Include two blank lines at the very end so that the attribution email address is separated from the text by a blank line. * Use the “Monospaced text” mode to insert computer code or other large chunks of text you want to appear “as is.” (Note: The Faq-O-Matic will let you use html in principle, but in practice it is not available for ordinary contributors to avoid unpleasent side effects.) 2001-Sep-06 8:12am furnstahl.1@osu.
