Oscar winners: Do you think Sandra Bullock deserved the Academy Award for Best Actress?
I haven’t watched a movie in so long I’m not even sure who Sandra Bullock is. Hollywood seems to think that sex and violence sells, and if they keep offering more and more of it, we’ll watch more and more. I can’t speak for anyone else, but for me, they crossed a line years ago. After I watched The Gangs of New York, I was literally nauseated. I don’t think I’ve watched a movie since, except maybe Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. Even the kid’s movies often have a bias or agenda, and my child ends up yelling at the screen because she knows better than to behave in the ways they portray. We didn’t watch the Oscars either, and have no idea who won or didn’t. I probably wouldn’t even have answered the poll, except that you never know who is on here, and maybe they’ll get the message.
