ORGANISATION & OPERATIONAL Why is Lifehouse at RPA a separate organisation and not just part of the Area Health Service?

0

Lifehouse at RPA is a registered benevolent fund (charity). In this way it will be able to use community donations as well as government funding and patient payments to provide expanded services to the community. Whilst a separate organisation, Lifehouse at RPA, the Chris O’Brien Cancer Centre, will continue to work closely with NSW Health and the Sydney South West Area Health Service in planning the new facility.
