I responded with a manuscript I titled “Anomaly Bashing”; it was published as “Censoring the Paranormal” in the February 1987 issue. (It was later reprinted in Ted Schultz’s 1989 book The Fringes of Reason, page 203.) The piece dealt with debunking extremism, much of it associated with CSICOP.
