As of September 1996, IC Verify (DOS winpopup), PCAuthorize (windows), or MacAuthorize (Mac) Software is not available for use by mostly all Non-U.S. merchants. Some Canadian banks have integrated ICVerify software into their systems. Transaction software integration with virtually all other Non-U.S. Merchant Banks has not yet been established. Unfortunately, it will likely be some time before a significant number of Non U.S. Banks offer this service to their merchants. Perhaps a hot cattle prod to the Banker’s hindquarters might speed things along.
