Operationally, how will Union Pacific implement their strategy?
Union Pacific will utilize existing rail service from the Midwest to North Platte, Nebraska and unit train services when appropriate. The current infrastructure allows producers the ability to release single-car multiple-car and unit train shipments. An ethanol train will be created at North Platte to expedite ethanol to the storage yards in Northern and Southern California.
