The Road Safety RS-1000 can be installed in virtually any car or light truck. For 1996 or newer vehicles, the system is easily installed by the user simply plugging the RS-1000 into your vehicles Data Link Connector (DLC). Full documentation and instructions are supplied. For 1995 and older vehicles, the unit requires hard wire connections to the vehicle that should be made by a qualified automotive technician.
