Ive asked a couple of questions on this forum about my male cat (yes! he is neutered) that went missing for 10 days. By the way, those ten days were HORRIBLE. I was a mess. I launched a full scale search for him and posted neon red signs all over the neighborhood. He returned on his own — 10 days later. Did I mention that those 10 days were HORRIBLE? We just dont realize how important and attached we get sometimes. I adore these little angels! Three years ago, a female manx cat gave birth to five kittens. She moved those kittens to my patio only hours or a day or so after birth. The Mommy kitty was anti-social and likely feral. I kept two of her kittens…a male (Chief) and a female (ChaCha) as well as the mother cat (Mommy). I have had them for just over 3 years now. They are all inside cats — and it took me 2 years to re-domesticate the Mommy cat (and I have the scars from scratches and bites to prove it! ha ha) and gain her trust.
