One of our board members says car donation programs have a “bad image”, whats that all about?
Prior to 2005, there was some “bad press” about car donation programs in general but the criticism was aimed primarily at some donors who were claiming unrealistic and inflated deductions when they donated vehicles and other property. The criticism was not directed at charities or the companies who process donations for charities.
