One of my air conditioners is located in the attic. How can I avoid getting a water leak through the ceiling?
Many conditions can cause a water leak, such as – The filter was dirty and the unit froze up. Someone stepped on the condensate drain and cracked or disconnected the pipe. The condensate line clogged and backed up. We can provide what is called a “wet switch” that will sense the slightest amount of water around your unit and immediately shut it down, avoiding the potential water leak and damaged ceiling. A thorough inspection of your system may also avoid future water problems.
