One for the people of the USA – Does everything come to a complete standstill when it snows in the the states?
It’s only in the warmer states, where it rarely – if ever – snows that things come to a complete standstill. Not only don’t the people down there know how to drive in the snow, but they don’t even have snow tires or chains for their cars (why would they need them?) and the cities lack any snow clearing equipment so clearing the roads takes a long time as they have to bring in private equipment from out of state. Elsewhere, it’s just business as usual unless it’s a blizzard or ice storm. I don’t care where you live, getting a foot of snow dumped on you all at once is going to shut down the city for at least a few hours while everyone digs out from the snow.
