Once students are accepted into the Magnet Program, do they continue to the next grade level in the Magnet class?
As long as the challenge of the Magnet program is the best educational placement for the child, the child will move onto the next grade level Magnet class. The Magnet team participates in an annual review meeting to discuss concerns about student progress. Any decisions about a change in placement would involve parents, teachers, and administrators, and be based upon consensus about what is best for the child.
