Once reviewed and acquired, how long do materials remain in the CASRC library?
CASRC staff review the collection each year. Materials in the collection that are older than five years receive particular attention during this review. Materials that are no longer up-to-date, accurate, or reflect current research or standards are removed from the library collection. Materials that have low interest or circulation in the state may be removed to ensure space for newer titles or for more copies of highly circulated titles.
