Once I’ve completed the online application, how long will it be until I receive an account number, checks and a check card?
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed for approval by a PFFCU staff member within one business day. Upon approval, PFFCU will open your account(s), order an ATM or PFFCU Visa Check Card and checks (if requested), notify you by telephone with the details of your account, and mail you a welcome letter containing information about your new account and a print-out of your application. Your welcome letter should arrive within two to five business days of approval. Your checks and cards will arrive separately, within ten business days of approval. In the meantime, we ask that you print a copy of your application, sign and date in the appropriate areas, and mail it to the credit union.
