Once in medical school what is the curricular structure one encounters?
Very generally the first two years are coursework, recently shifting quite strongly toward problem based learning rather than traditional lectures, while the third and fourth years involve clinical rotations and much more patient interaction. Many medical schools are experimenting with their curricula to make them more interesting and relevant to students.
