Once I apply for an extended permit, what is the turn-around time for receiving it?
Extended permits are usually issued within a 15 business day period from the time it is received by MDOT. However, in order to ensure you receive your new permit prior to the expiration of your existing permit, MDOT recommends submitting a renewal application a minimum of 30 days prior to expiration.
