Once enrolled in an MCO, how do PAC members get their mental health drugs?
PAC members will continue to use their PAC card at the pharmacy to get most of their mental health drugs. Mental health drugs are paid by DHMH, not the MCOs, except for a limited number of drugs which are used for both mental and physical health problems; those are paid for by the MCOs. The pharmacist will know whether to bill DHMH or the MCO and the co-pay amount to charge the member.
