No, The Bible says that a soul that sins will die (Ezekiel18:4, 20) So there is no part of mankind that somehow lives on appart from the Body! This belief that a soul somehow survivesafter the death of it’s body dies, is a lie that was started by the devil in the garden of eden when he lied to Eve in direct opposition to what God said to Adam and Eve that on the day you eat from it you will positively die!(Genesis2:17)Satan the Devil contrary to Gpod’s woprds said:”You positively will not die.”(Genesis3:4) This was a lie that Satan told Eve he said that they would not die. But they did die!So this lie is now furthered buy Satan and his demons to get people to believe that they will not die because somehow their life can continue in some other form as in the soul, and therefore there is no need to worry for humans can live on through their soul no matter how they live their life they will go to heaven and live there with God as souls.

But most Buddhism sees this as the way to obtain enlightenment by breaking the cycle but then they can come back again as Buddhas to help other achieve enlightenment.
