On what types of on-lot systems can the SoilAir™ technology be installed?

0

The SoilAir™ technology can be installed on all types of gravity and pressurized distribution septic systems. The SoilAirTM technology has not been installed on cesspools and seepage pits in PA, due to the current PADEP policy requiring the replacement of failing cesspools and seepage pits because of their potential for groundwater contamination. In general, when dealing with seepage pits and cesspools, more extensive soil evaluations must be done to determine if a limiting layer is within 4 feet of the bottom of the installation.
