On what does the Army Discharge Review Board (ADRB) base its decisions?
The ADRB bases its decisions on equity and propriety. Each case is evaluated independently based on its own merit and the evidence submitted by the applicant. The burden of proof rests with the applicant to provide evidence that the discharge was not proper or that the applicant was not given equal treatment.
