On what computers are the MDG codes available?
We do most of our development on Linux and AIX platforms. SUN (Solaris) and SGI (IRIX) workstations are still supported, though fading from our environment. We do not have current access to HP workstations (HPUX and TRU64), yet collaborators have successfully compiled there. There was a long tradition of MDG support for Cray supercomputers, but LLNL does not own any Cray equipment at this time. Graphics card and windowing issues surrounding GRIZ are a challenge for platform migration.
