Yes, it is the class range and yes, it should always default to the correct range. Q: In DHHS the last 12 digits of a position number can be the same. Unless we enter the 15 digit position number how will we know which SAP position number is correct? Is this a typo in Step 4- “Enter the last 12 digits of the PMIS# in the Object abbreviation”? A: When the positions were converted from PMIS to SAP, the last 12 digits were used for the position abbreviation. Also the 15 digit number is stored on another infotype for reference. Q: In training we were instructed that SAP requires upper and lowercase text. Therefore, when posting a job in SAP (PQ13), we were told to be sure to type or paste in upper and lowercase in the text fields and NOT to use all CAPS. If someone types their text in all CAPs, how will that affect the job posting? A: It has partly to do with the way it displays in the reports.
