Naturally, there ARE exceptions such as the famous “glandular” issue, but there are also those who, due to injury or disease cannot exercise, or perhaps their medications promote weight gain. By and large, the vast majority of over-weight people wear excess fat on their bodies because of poor food choices, eat too much food, and don’t exercise enough or properly. No one of reasonable intelligence can argue that carrying excess fat on the body promotes wellness. No one of reasonable intelligence can argue against the fact that obesity DOES cause heart disease, cancer and a huge host of PREVENTABLE diseases. One would have to be “thick” to KNOW the dangers of obesity and STILL ALLOW themselves to be fat. I just know you are going to get slammed by many of your responders because you asked a politically incorrect question. You are no longer allowed strong opinions about obesity and its causes. You are to assume that all over-weight people have no control over their situat
