On the support output report, the GRs load is not equal to the spring Preload. Why?
The output report GR reaction is calculated and may not be the same as the design Preload. The Preload (cold load) is extracted from the Hanger analysis report. Using the calculated hot load and the travel distance from the design operating case, the cold load is extracted from the spring manufacturers tables.
