On the Sun Ray 2FS, does one I/O port (fiber or copper Ethernet) have priority over the other? How does the unit know which one to use?

You can only use one port at a time. If you plug in both fiber and copper Ethernet connections, the Sun Ray 2FS will use the link that it finds first. It will then shut down the second port. We recommend that you only connect to the port that you intend to use. Sun Ray 2FS will NOT do “hot” fail-over between ports if both are plugged in. Swapping ports after the unit powers on still requires a restart of the unit.
