On the student account, it is showing that refunds have been processed but when the student checks his/her E-card or bank account, no refund was deposited yet, what does this mean?
The refund posting date on student account is not necessarily the date when the refund amount is actually deposited to the student bank account. It usually takes 72 hours from the posting date for the refund amount to be reflected in the student’s E-card or bank account. The student has chosen Direct Deposit and has filled in bank details (account no. & routing no.) in HCC system as well, but when the student checks his/her bank account, no refund amount has been deposited yet, what does this mean? HCC sends bank details (account no. & routing no.)to the student’s depository bank under pre-notification process; this is to check the validity of account no. & routing no. submitted to HCC. This process takes 15 calendar days to complete. It is only when completed that refund amount is available in the deposit account.
