On the species page, why are some species displayed in a different color or with a symbol?
When you enter data for a given species, the program will check to determine whether this is a species for which you should provide additional information. This includes rare species at the provincial level (), rare species at the regional level () as determined by the Regional Coordinator, colonial species () and species for which you reported finding a nest.
