On the Rollstar Order Form, what is the end cap? Do I always need to mark this column?
End caps finish off the fascia or headbox, covering the hardware at the ends. Some types of fascias and headboxes have optional end caps that cover the ends of the brackets: • The 4×4 snap-on fascia (4″ fascia in our commercial program) is available with optional decorative end cap covers (also called bracket covers). If you are ordering these end cap covers, mark the End Cap columns L and R, but write “Covers” in the title box that reads “End Caps.” • The 4040 fascia and the 4045 and 5050 headboxes have optional end caps to finish off the sides of the treatment. For inside mount, end caps are not needed; in fact, using them increases the gap between the shade and the window frame. However, they are necessary for outside mount shades, to finish off the sides of the treatment, in any scenario where the ends of the fascia or headbox are visible.
