On the results at dual meets, what does it mean if AS, POND, or RWB appears next to my childs times?
After Divisionals, most of our swimmers will be done with the swim season. However, a portion of our team who has qualified will participate in invitation only meets. As a team, the Kingfish are competing in All Stars (AS) and Ponderosa (POND). We do not compete in Red, White and Blue (RWB). Swimmers can qualify for these two meets at any dual meet or at Summer Champs. Swimmers who qualify for either Ponderosa or All Stars for a relay will be notified by the coaches on Saturday, June 20th following Divisionals. Qualifying swimmers will have practice June 23rd-26th preceding their meets. The coaches strongly encourage those swimmers who qualify for Ponderosa and All Stars to attend. Qualifying for these meets mean that you are among the premiere swimmers in the Northwest Aquatic League. It is a great experience for swimmers. Both meets are held at Klein area high schools with indoor set up for spectators and swimmers.
