On the day of ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone installation, do I need to be present at the location of the installation?
If you are converting your existing active phone service at your current location to have ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone installed or you wish to transfer your existing Naked ADSL (ULL) service, then you don’t need to be home. If you apply with an inactive phone line (no dial tone on the line and you cannot make or receive calls) then you must be home during the site visit appointment for testing your line and connecting the TPG Home Phone with ADSL2+ Service. You will be advised of this date and time via email. If you are not home during your scheduled appointment period, you may incur a rescheduling fee for a second site visit appointment. Click here to see details on the ADSL2+ with TPG Home Phone Additional Pricing page. During the site visit appointment, access to your Network Boundary Point will be required. See “What is my Network Boundary Point?” Our technicians are only able to provide us with a general window of 8am – noon or 1pm – 5pm in which they may need to gain access to you
