On the College/University Education Details page, what does the magnifying glass next to the “Degree” field mean?
The magnifying glass icon signifies that there are a list of values to choose from on a look-up table. When you click the icon, you will see a list of values. For short lists, such as the “Degree” listing, you can sort the names by clicking the header at the top of the list that you would like to sort by. For longer lists, such as school names, it may be helpful to select a category in the “Search By” field. Then in the “Begins With” field, enter one or more letters or numbers of the item you are searching for. Click the “Look Up” button. You should then find a listing of values from which you can choose. Click on the appropriate value and it will populate the correct field in the original screen.
