On service set-up day, how long is the actual process from the time the Covad technician arrives at my home?
Typically, service set-up takes less than two hours, but Covad will ask you to reserve four hours for the installation. When extensive inside wiring is required, service set-up may take longer. If you think complicated inside wiring may be necessary (to a new location for your router, for example), please let ITS know when you order the service so the Covad technician can anticipate spending extra time on your service set-up. There is an $88 per hour charge for installations that take longer than 20 minutes.
