On occasion, the ventilating needle snags the lace. Is the needle defective?
No. The needle is not defective. There is a small hook at the very tip of the needle. If the needle is held incorrectly, it will snag everything it comes in contact with. To prevent this, hold the ventilating needle at a slight angle when attaching hair to the lace. Also, grab the correct number of hair strands that correspond with your needle. Needle #2 will grab two strands of hair. Needle #3 will grab three strands of hair and so on.
