This issue is limited to Windows environment only. This is specifically being addressed in Java 5 Release 19. Currently, the long filenames and deeply nested folders on Windows that have over 255 characters (including base directory which can easily get up to 50 or more characters, e.g. c:\documents and settings\\icsync) create an error. The recommended path for folders structure is below 150 characters until the Java release provides a fix for the problem.
