Birthdate doesn’t automatically create datebook entries. You’ll want to use the menu / notify all option to add all datebook entries in one run or use the “notify” button in the Birthdate details screen. To get to the Birthdate details screen just tap on an entry in the event list. To be uptodate on your datebook entries its necessary to use the notify all function some 1-2 times per year.
