All Java applications on Motorola’s V-series phones require a special “Java Session” WebSession for network connectivity. This WebSession is separate from any WAP or GPRS/Internet WebSessions you may already have configured. To create this new Web Session for used by Java applications • Select Menu -> Web Access -> Web Sessions -> [New Entry] • Name the new entry “Java Session”, set all Service Types to “HTTP”, and enter the relevant GPRS APN information for your network operator If you encounter the message “Browser setup is incomplete” when you are configuring your Java Session, you can safely ignore it. The most important fields to change are Service Types, GPRS APN, User Name, and Password (last three are located at the very bottom of the WebSession setup page).
