Only one OpenOffice process can run at a time for each user. So it’s possible that you have an OpenOffice process already running. You can check this with the shell command “ps -a | grep office “. You should then either check that OpenOffice is not running in any other workspace. If it is not then you can stop that OpenOffice process by using the command “kill “.
