It took about 20 years to get in this mess with Bush Clinton Bush and it will take a while for any President to fix Old Glory to get us out of this recession and save us from a depression,Glad the Bushes is over now and we all know how the Clinton’s did,and McCain is like Bush and will follow his ways so that leaves Obama to do the Job.

Obama hates Old Glory, so he certainly wouldn’t do anything to mend it.

Only if there’s such a thing as an ultra right wing, conservative moderate, far left radical liberal, middle of the road type person somewhere who has the bucks to run for office. I can only speak from my perspective, but where I live (Texas) the economy is literally booming, unemployment is less than 4% (D/FW area), and so many of the problems that seem to be stressed by the media simply are of no concern. Those areas here which are of greater concern center around high gas prices and illegal immigration and it doesn’t matter who we elect as president, the true future of America is in the hands of Congress which is issue oriented as opposed to solution oriented. The only way to unite this country is to suffer another 9/11 – and that reunion will last about two weeks because various factions of this country have come to truly detest each other. grrrrrr.
