We aren’t aloud it would be too un PC. You can’t celebrate Britishness as it may upset an ethnic minority (or by 2012, a majority thanks to our good old friend immigration) Instead it’s going to be some rubbish to show that we’re ‘modern and trendy’ and it will celebrate all things ‘multicultural’ and not show our brilliant historic traditions and culture to the world.
