Okay, so what if the behaviors sneak in anyway?
• Positive Reinforcement – Staff is trained to differentially reinforce appropriate behavior. This alone will increase the amount of appropriate behaviors and, in turn, decrease inappropriate behaviors. • Negative Reinforcement – Procedures such as Time-Out (removal of child from reinforcing activity and Response Cost (removal of bonus reinforces) are utilized throughout the summer. • WE DO NOT USE PUNISHMENT PROCEDURES.
