You can migrate your own account to Google Apps any time by using self-service migration. Go to http://mail.maine.edu and read the section on “Migrate your mail account to Google” where there is a link to the MigrateToGoogle application. Or you can contact the ITS Help Desk by email at support@maine.edu or by phone at 561-3587. ITS will migrate the accounts of those students who do not elect to migrate their own sometime prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
