There is not a cut-off or set income level to receive financial aid. The calculations are done based on all the figures you enter into the FAFSA. But these affect your score the most: number of students/siblings in college, income, number of members in household, and parents’ ages. The FAFSA will determine how much money you can receive in student loans and which kinds of loans you will receive. When you say that you “don’t qualify for anything anymore” I’m guessing you mean grants, or free aid. Because, in fact, you are eligible for some amount/type of student loans. Loans may sound like kind of a drag, but can make the difference between you going to college and not. It’s how I got through.
