October 13th – The European leg of the “Unmasked Tour” ends in Norway… Or does it?
November 1st – KISS arive in Asutralia… November 9th – The KISS Unmasked Tour reaches Australia for the first time and it’s hugely successful. November – “Tomorrow” issued as a single but fails to chart. December – Peter’s first single, appropriately “By Myself” is issued, but fails to chart. December 3rd – The Unmasked Tour ends in Auckland, New Zealand. This final concert is Ace’s last with the band. 1981 January 12th – Alive! is included in a consignment of records donated by the RIAA to the Library Of Congress. January – “Best Of The Solo Albums” released everywhere but the States, it had earlier been released (1979) in both Australia and W. Germany. March 1st – KISS enters Ace Frehley’s Ace In The Hole studios in Connecticut to start work on tracks for new LP, tentativly titled “Rockin’ With The Boys”. Band records classic “Deadly Weapons”, Eric’s first song with KISS – this song is reworked in 1985 for inclusion on the Asylum album as “Love’s A Deadly Weapon”. April 7th – Jenil
