Occasionally, when trying to open up a node configuration dialog, I get a message that says, “No column in spec compatible to ‘SlnValue’” (or SdfValue, SmilesValue, Mol2Value, etc.). What does this mean?

The node is complaining that it requires a certain type of input data, and that type of data will not come from the pipeline it sees as input. To fix this problem, make sure that all data input ports (inports) are connected and that one or more previous nodes add a column of data to the datatable that is of the specified type. For example, you might get this message when attempting to configure the AUSPYX Similarity Search node without first connecting it to a previous node. Since this AUSPYX node requires an SLN query structure as input, add a node (like the SLN Reader node) to the workflow and hook it up to the Similarity Search. With the input requirement (of a column containing SLN data) satisfied, you may now open up the configuration dialog.
