Number 6: Why are the fees so expensive and what do they cover?
DVBC is a competitively priced volleyball club in the NCVA. Our fees are inclusive of all expenses to run the club, buy uniforms, pay its coaches and officers, pay tournament entry fees, and lodging for its coaches when applicable. The main culprit in the costs for the Power League Gold-teams, 16 and 18, for 2006 are the increased airfares to National Tournaments because of rising fuel prices. The Board of Directors is making every effort to find ways of decreasing the costs of airfare and other expenses, while maintaining a meaningful volleyball experience for the players.
