• SunRun and your installer begin the rebate and interconnection process with your utility company. • Your installer will create the design for your SunRun solar electricity system. The design serves as the document used to specify the construction and permitting requirements for your system. If you did not review system design with your installer during the sales process, you will have an opportunity to review at this point. • Your installer will coordinate with you to schedule your installation. • SunRun will send you an invoice for your initial payment, which will be due at the start of your installation. • Once installation has begun, your system should be built within 2-8 business days. • Your system will be inspected for proper installation. • Your utility will authorize the system to be turned on. Depending on your utility company, either utiltiy personnel will turn on your system or your installer will walk you through the process. • You are now producing renewable energy!
