Now, how does the dissolving and transportation of fat work?
– The lipases released from the adipocytes by means of phosphatidylcholine produce a local breakdown of fat that is then discharged over the liver and metabolized via beta-oxidation.The relatively rapid dissolving of fat is to be attributed to the lipases indicated by PHC which is responsible for the breakdown of the triglycerides into tiny nano-fat particles. Mainly responsible for this is the triacylglycerol lipase and the hormone sensitive lipase whose intracellular secretion is greatly stimulated by PHC. Following the addition of PHC, there is also a great increase in the basolateral secretion of apolipoprotein B in lipoprotein particles (LDL, VLDL but also HDL). Thus, PHC plays a vital role in the activation of the lipoprotein lipasis, in steering the lipolysis and finally in lipid absorption. Furthermore, it is interesting to note that in experiments a concentration of at least 250µMol had to be reached in order to achieve an effect. Obviously, a critical all or nothing concentra
