The only product approved for use in oilseed rape with any significant activity on cleavers is Galera* (clopyralid + picloram). Applications of 0.35l/ha can provide up to 80% suppression of cleavers present when the treatment is made. To achieve this level of suppression applications should be made in spring, when weeds and crop are actively growing, just prior to the crop canopy closing over.
